Reminiscing on Christmas

This past Christmas was a huge one. It was Billie Jo’s first Christmas and also the first Christmas we celebrated in our new home.

Being that she’s the only grandchild in our family, this year was all about her. Every inch of excitement was towards Billie Jo opening presents and watching every ounce of her innocence devour every toy.

It was incredible to watch and feel so much love in the room.
This Christmas was also an important one because it was the first one we shared with new members added to the Rivera family. It was the first Christmas Dan and Jeannette, my sister-in-law, spent with my parents.

The holidays is one of my favorite times of the year because it’s highlighted by all the special memories you make with family. This past year was the perfect example of that. All the gifts that were given and received were just the cherry on top of it all.
